Hi Ted,

I have a 1997 Toyota Previa S/C DX model 5124A. I have had it since November 1996 and it has about 35,000 miles on it.

I am about to rotate the tires. Is it necessary that I balance them also? If I do have to balance them, how often do I have to balance them if it is mainly driven only on weekends?

If the tires are balanced already there is no need to balance them when rotating them, in some cases there may be a vibration after rotating the tires if the rear tires were out of balance, if this is the case you will need to have all the tires balanced.
