Toyota Repair: clunking sound, toyota sr5, steering wheel

Question
I have a 1993 toyota sr5 x-cab v6 5spd with auto disconnecting differential. When im moving slowly and turn the steering wheel fully to the left eg.(u turn) i hear a sharp clunk sound from the left front wheel,if i back off the steering wheel just a little theres no sound at all, otherwise all other aspects of the drivetrain, steering, suspension are smooth and quite. thank you!

Answer
Check the steering stops on the lower suspension arms, lubricate them with grease, what happens is that the steering stops get rusty and when turning the wheel all the way it will make a popping noise, if you have trouble locating the contact points let me know and I will send an illustration providing you can give me an email address.
