Toyota Repair: 93 toyota corolla, toyota corolla, trouble code

Question
My check engine light comes on. Then, as I push on the gas peddle the car will only go max10mphs
(that's even pressing all the way down). It only lasts for about 1-2min. in the beginning then after that it's fine. But it's everytime I have to stop.

I recommend that you have someone get the trouble code from the computer first, this will steer you in the right direction of what could be the problem, it may be a problem with the catalytic converter, let me know what the trouble code is and I can be of more help.
