Toyota Repair: Emergency Brake Light, brake fluid reservoir, brake master cylinder

Question
I have a 1999 Toyota Corolla with about 20,000 miles on it..The emergency brake light keeps coming on and off..The brake is not on, and I have checked to make sure it is all the way down..The light will pop on and off now and then..and seems to come on more when the car is cold...and less often when it warms up..I appreciate any advice about this you might have..

Answer
Open the hood and locate the brake master cylinder, it will be on the driver's side on the firewall, check the brake fluid reservoir, the fluid is probably low, add some brake fluid until it is at the "MAX" mark and see if the warning light goes away.
The low brake fluid indicates also that the front brake pads are worn, so I highly recommend that you have the brakes checked.
