Toyota Repair: 91 Corrola, spark plug wires, cylinder compression

I have 91 Corrola with 115000 miles, idles rough like one cylinder is not operating and this is intermittent. Notice it when stooped waitng for light to change and on a frequent basis car will shake but continue to run.

The first thing that needs to be done is check the engine's cylinder compression and if it checks good then you can look at other possibilities like spark plug wires and/or spark plugs causing the misfire. If you like, you can try replacing the distributor cap/rotor and the spark plugs and the wires and see if that helps.
