Toyota Repair: Washer Fluid, generic answer, motor noise

Question
The washer fluid for my windshield does not dispense when I press the button under the steering wheel. I am relatively certain there is no clog in any of the lines. What are other sources of the problem? Is this a relatively inexpensive repair?

Answer
You didn't tell me what year and model it is so I can only give you a generic answer, when you press the switch you should hear a noise coming from the pump motor on the washer tank under the hood, if there is a motor noise there is either a line disconnected or the pickup in the tank is clogged up, if you do not hear the motor there is a possibility of either the switch on the dash or the pump motor malfunctioning.
