Toyota Repair: Sticking accelerator pedal, toyota camry, throttlebody

Question
My 1999 Toyota Camry, (4 cylinder with speed control) has a sticking gas pedal. From idle you must push very hard on the pedal to "break it free" so that you can feather the gas pedal. Happens all the time. Getting worse.
Car has 70,000 miles. Problem started around 55,000 miles. Please help. Thank You

Answer
Thats an easy one, where the boot of the air filter goes on the throttlebody, loosen the ten mm clamp pull the the hose down so you can see the carbon build up inside the T/B, get you a old tooth brush and a can of carb cleaner, open the throttle and clean away, if you get more than a 1/4 of a can in there you should run eng to blow this out, it may smoke a bit when you 1st start it this is norm, repeat untill clean.
