Toyota Repair: Corolla Wont Start, toyota corolla, oil levels

Hi,

We recently purchased a 1992 Toyota Corolla with about 120000 miles on it.  After the purchase, we did a tune up on the car including new spark plugs.  The car has been running solid for about 3 months.  Just recently, the weather is getting cold [we're in chicago], I'm not sure if it's coincident or not, the car has been having problems starting.  At first, it started to take twice for the engine to get going.  Then as it get's colder, it would take up to four times.  Over this past weekend, we had our lowest temperature and the car would not start at all Saturday night.  We tried the battery first but it wasn't the problem. The spark plugs were checked, fuel pump seemed to be working fine.  All oil levels were normal.We hardwired the "service circuit" and the Check Engine light flashed code "No Issue Found".  We couldn't get the car started til the next Monday, which it did take quite a few cranks.  Once it starts, it runs perfect.  What could be the problem? Could you please suggest where we should check next?  Thank you.

Check the commpression when cold, remove all plugs install tool, crank five times, take reading all four if any under 150 this could be it, try 5 -30 oil if not already. you do have spark when it acts up right?  You can buy a oil pan heater that plugs into 120 pulls less then a light bulb, cheaper then rebuilding
