Toyota Repair: Brake Light, ron goode toyota, toyota camry

I have a 1999 Toyota Camry 6cyl built in Tennessee.

2 months ago after I start the car the brake light comes on...initially it came on for 30 seconds now it comes on for 1 hour. When I start the car in the evening it does not come on.

I've taken the vehicle to Ron GOode Toyota in Alameda, California 3 times and they can't seem to figure out the proble. They say the brakes are fine and the computer when theyhook it up doesn't

How many miles?  To eliminate this with out working on it make sure the fluid level is on the max mark,ok, now look at the master cylinder, the thing with the fluid you will see a two wires going to a plug, unplug this from the master cylinder, see if lights goes out, if so, the switch is bad, if this don't get the light out then it could be the park brake switch, or the brake pedal switch, from what you said it sounds like the master cylinder switch.  I don't know why they told you they connected the scan tool up, please send me the vin and I will see if there is any recalls ,TSB on this if the checks I told you to do or have a friend to do these things for you, some one that knows what there doing.  If I could get a hold of it I would tell you in 30mins or less.
