Toyota Repair: totyota brakes,stalling, power brake booster, toyota camry

I have a 96 toyota camry, 4cyl. thats in otherwise good condition. It stalls after driving for some time particurly after driving on highway for a while and then when I slow down and stop it stalls. The brakes then feel awkward - its scary because it feels like its not going to stop, altho it does after pumping the brakes. the stalling is more when its warm weather then in cold. please reply ASAP and let me know if the problem is with brakes or something else.

Usually, I would suspect the idle speed control valve but if that's the case it will only stall at idle, if it stalls while slowing down there is some other problem, is there a check engine light on?
The brakes feel this way because when the engine stalls you lose vacuum to the power brake booster and there is no power brake assist.
I'd suggest having a shop diagnose the problem and make sure the engine has no problem.
