Toyota Repair: 94 4-Runner A/C recharge, r 134 freon, service ports

Question
My 94' 4-Runner sat for over a year and when I put it back into service everything worked fine except the air conditioning. I have everything to recharge the system (assuming this is not a freon unit) but I cannot find the low (or high) side. Where is this located and is it different than American cars. I just recharged my Dodge Dakota and it was very simple. I am looking for a similar valve on the 4-runner. It is a 6 cylinder.

Answer
According to the information I have from the factory this a/c system uses R-134 freon, the service ports are located on the high and low side a/c lines near the firewall where the lines go into the passenger compartment, look for them on the right side near the engine valve cover, they may have plastic covers on them which you will need to remove.
The valves are all the same no matter what make the car is.
