Toyota Repair: transmission fluid for toyota sienna 98, tork converter, toyota sienna

Question
Hi,
I have a couple of questions below regarding transmission fluid:
Q1. Does sienna 98 have a separate differential compartment and if so how can I go about draining and refilling it and how often does this need to be done?
Q2. When changing the transmission oil, is it enough to just drain it and then to top it up which is what I think Toyota dealer does?  If not, please let me know what else need to be done.

Thanks

Answer
There is no seperation between the transmission and differetial and when you drain the transmission you also drain the differential, just remove the drain plug on the metal trans pan. We recommend changing the atf every 30,000 miles.
If the fluid is not terribly discolored just draining and refilling at 30k miles is all that is required, if the fluid looks very dark it may be a good idea to have a shop or the dealer completely flush the fluid with a machine, this will change all the fluid including the fluid in the tork converter and the valve body which with a normal drain and fill will stay in the transmission.
