Toyota Repair: 1986 4runner brakes, broken studs, manual hubs

Question
I have a 1986 toyota 4runner, 4wd, 22RE, that i just purchased, im replacing the front Calipers, rotors and pads. My problem is that when i went to take the manual hubs off a couple studs broke. How would you try and get these out? Also the cone washers are rusted to the studs, how do you free these up? Last of all this is the first time i've done brakes on a vehicle with manual hubs and not GM based. Any tips or little things that aren't in a haynes manual that you think would help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
The broken studs can be drilled out and rethreaded, you are talking about the small studs on the 4x4 hub is this correct or do you mean the studs that hold the wheel on?
The cone washers can be removed by spraying some penetrating oil on and then tapping the outside edge of the hub next to each stud with a hammer, they will pop off, leave the nuts on by a couple of threads this prevents the cones from flying off, make sure that the locks are in the "free" position before removing them.
