Toyota Repair: Window Washer, washer hoses, motor noise

Question
Hi:

I have a 1995 Corolla. I just discovered that my  window washer fluid does not eject when I push the button on the right side of my wiper switch---nothing happens. I do not know if there may be a clog in one of the lines or not. I am not wanting to incur any significant kind of expense to get this repaired. I can do without it if necessary.  There is plenty of fluid in the washer chamber, so that is not the problem. Can you offer any ideas as to the problem, and an approximate price for repairs?

Answer
Open the hood and make sure the washer hoses are attached and not leaking, it's possible that the washer pump has failed or the nozzles are clogged, remove the hose connecting to one of the nozzles and see if water comes out when the switch is activated, if not it may be a problem with the pump located on the washer bottle or the switch, have someone turn on the switch while you listen for the motor noise under the left front fender, if there is noise there is a clog or a leak in the system, if there is no noise the switch or the motor are no good or the fuse is blown.
