Toyota Repair: headlights, celica gt, fuse box


Question
I have a 87 Celica GT 310,000 miles. I changed motor and transmission.
Now my headlights say on all the time. The car has a cutoff switch for the
lights when remove the key. can you help me.

My best guess would be to replace the headlight switch on the steering column, first try replacing the headlight relay under the hood, it's in the fuse box on the left side by the battery, try removing the relay, if the lights go off replace the relay.
