Toyota Repair: 92 Celica rear brake adjustment, going in the right direction, brake shoes

Question
I just replaced the drum brake pads on a '92 Celica. What is the proper way to adjust them?

Answer
The easiest way if the drums are still off is to turn the adjuster until the brake drum just goes over the brake shoes, if you turn it too far the drum won't go on, another way with the drums already on is to access the adjuster wheel through the backing plate, remove the small oval shaped rubber plug and turn the adjuster with a screwdriver, it will turn only one way and make a clicking noise if you are going in the right direction, turn it until there is a slight drag on the drum, the stop, the brake is now adjusted.
