Answer
Since the problem is not there on cold startups the cold start injector function seems to be working, there are a few things that could be the problem, a loss of engine compression, the timing out of specs,a leaking fuel injector(this would cause some black smoke from the tailpipe)there could be excessive carbon builtup on the backsides of the valves which can soak up most of the fuel when starting so the engine doesn't get enough fuel into the combustion chambers until the carbon has soaked up all the fuel it can, one way to check for this is to find a shop or the dealer that has a BORESCOPE, it's a lighted probe that can be inserted into the spark plug opening and the technician can look at the valves, this saves you from having to remove the cylinder head for inspection.
