i have a 1991 toyota Camry LE V6 automatic. i have a problem about my tail and brake lights. well when i turn on my headlights the surrounding lights goes on but the tail lights dont, also when i press on the brake pedal brake light dont go on either. i check the bulbs,fuses it still would not work can you help me out?

On the left trunk hinge is a small wire harness that leads foreward into the passenger area, these are known to break inside the insulation, cut the outside insulation as far as you can, peel the carpet back, once the individual wires are exposed check them for any breaks, check all the wires by trying to pull them apart, repair any broken wires, also check the tail light relay mounted on the left side in the trunk, you can open it and check for any burned spots on the circuit board.
