Thanks for your answer to my question about the air bags re battery removal.  Will you answer another?

Will you tell me how to change spark plugs on a '97 4-Runner and the tools I will need to do so?

It will save me a lot of time if you would tell mw if it is a V-6 or 4-cylinder engine.

Answer
Remove the air intake tube between the air cleaner and throttle body, remove the ground wires on the drivers side of the engine, remove the bracket for the acc cable, remove the diagnostic connector, remove the connectors from the coil packs on the right side and remove the 10mm nuts and pull the coils out of the spark plug tubes then you can access the spark plugs with a 5/8" swivel spark plug socket and an extension(3/8"X 24") connected to a ratchet.
