Toyota Repair: 1995 Toyota Camry - Stalling Problems, toyota camry, toyota dealer

Question
Thanks for your suggestion. I took your advice and had the ISC valve replaced at my local Toyota dealer. However, now I still have the same problem and it appears to be worse. Car stalls out more frequently and appears to be straining to maintain idle when sitting at a stoplight with the engine running. The first time I took it out on the bypass after having the ISC valve replaced, I went about five miles at 60-65 mph and when I got off the bypass and came to the first stoplight, the car started to strain and cut off. I drove back to the dealer via the bypass at 60-65mph and the same thing happened the first time I slowed down and stopped. I am now frustrated because I have spent $350 and now the problem  appears to be worse and is happening more frequently. Any suggestions?

Question -
I have a  4 cylinder 1995 Toyota Camry with approximately 102,000 miles. During the last few months I have been experiencing stalling problems usually after at least 10-15 minutes of driving 55-60 mph and upon slowing down and making a turn, the car completely cuts out (excluding the radio). It becomes almost impossible to steer because there is no power steering. It has happened at least 5 times in the last 3 months. I have taken it to the local Toyota dealer but they have been unable to duplicate the problem. My wife won't drive the car any more because she experienced the stalling one time and was terrified. Do you have any suggestions? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.
Answer -
The most common stalling problem is caused by the idle speed control valve, they tend to stick and cause stalling, the remedy is to replace this valve, ask the toyota dealer to either clean or replace the ISC valve, sometimes they can be cleaned with good results and it's a lot cheaper to do that instead of replacement, at least you will know if this was the problem, you should see an improvement after servicing the valve.

Answer
The only other problem that I can think of that may be a possibility is that there is a problem with the distributor, the coil inside the distributor can develop cracks but this will also cause an engine misfire while driving, not just at idle, I'm sort of at a loss on this one, sorry.
