Toyota Repair: automatic seat belts, seat belts, seatbelts

i have a 1987 camry. the automatic seatbelts are not working on either side.  i have checked all the fuses.  is there a computer on board i can find and check?  any other suggestions?  thanks for your time.

Are these the type of seatbelts that slide forward on top of the door when the door is closed and slide back when the door is opened, I'm sorry I haven't worked on a Camry of this vintage in a very long time but if you could give me a little more info it may help, I don't even know if I have any manuals that go back that far but I'll see what I can do.
