Toyota Repair: Timing Belt cover gaskets 88 PU V6 3.0L, toyota dealer, rubber seal

Question
can't find any documentation on gaskets/seals, especially for the rear timing belt cover! I took it off to replace the camshaft seals - teh inside of the cover looked like a sludge covered oil pan. How do I make sure the cover is sealed against outside junk ?

Answer
The plastic timing cover has a rubber seal around it to keep dust and stuff like that out, your toyota dealer can supply you with the seal. If there is any oil inside the cover there may be leaks at the front camshaft seals and those may need to be replaced.
