Toyota Repair: 1997 Toyota 4Runner Cruse control, light fuse, toyota 4runner

Question
I tryed to use the cruse control today and when I pressed the on off switch the light in the dash did not come on, no power, and the cruse would not work. I have not had any problem with this before.
Is there a fuse I can check & replace? Or anything else I can check?

Hello Robert. Welcome to my expert page.
There are several fuses that should be checked, the dome fuse,the gauge fuse,the stop light fuse, all of these provide 12 volts to the cruise control computer, if these are good I suspect there is a problem with the cruise control main switch, I have never seen anything else on the system fail.
