Toyota Repair: shifting, toyota highlander, toyota

i have a 02  toyota highlander and for the last two weeks i have trouble putting it in park it will lock up in reverse or neutral. i took it to dealer and they just told me they couldnt duplicate the concern so they couldnt fix it. i have trouble with it at least once a day. 1st problem detected,no prior repairs

I have no experience with this problem on a Highlander so I'm afraid I can be of no more help than the dealer, I suggest that you leave the vehicle with them, if possible, until they can duplicate the problem.
