Toyota Repair: Oxygen Sensor, good luck jack, toyota avalon

Question
1996 Toyota Avalon.  Check engine light has come on......Trouble shooting code is P0150 which, according to the diagnostic shop means that the O2 sensor is bad (oxygen sensor 1).  Where is that sensor?  How hard is it to replace?  Do I need to do anything to reset the onboard computer to turn off the "check engine" light after replacing the bad sensor?

Thanks

Answer
Normally when they say sensor 1 is the problem it's the one that is on the #1 cylinder side of the engine (probably close to the firewall side of the engine). It usually mounts into the front exhaust pipe.  Right now I am unable to look at the acutal location but at some time you need to  probably replace that sensor. If you do make sure you use the one's from the dealer.
Good luck
Jack

I finally got into the info and I was wrong. The P0150 is the  Bank 2 Sensor 1 failure. It is located on the radiator side of the engine. So it's much easier to replace. Unless you have the proper socket to remove the sensor you may have some difficulty but its possible.
