Toyota Repair: rough ride tacoma 4 x 4, pot holes, toyota 86

My tacoma with 100,000 miles rides rough.  What can I do to give me a smoother ride?  Even when new, my old toyota 86 rode better than the tacoma.

The pot holes are not making things any easier.

Hello Tom, I need a little more information before I can give you any kind of an answer:
Are you the original owner, if not, how long have you had the truck?
When did this start to happen?
Was anything on the suspension changed or is everything original?
What size tires and wheels are on the truck?
Yor complaint is kind of unusual, normally we get the opposite(ride is too soft for a 4x4)so try to give me as much info as possible.
