Toyota Repair: 93 Toyota Camary 2.2 (4cyl)(110,000 mi), toyota camary, resistance measurements

I had thought it might be the coil. Wasn't sure. Now, can I test the coil on the car or do I need to remove it? Do I have to take out the distributor or just the coil? How do I test it?   THANKS!

Testing the coil with resistance measurements are often a waste of time because I have seen many that pssed the resistance checks but were the problem anyway, the thing to look for on these are cracks on the epoxy covered area or a burned through spot underneath, check with a flashlight and a small mirror.
