Toyota Repair: 93 Toyota Camry 2.2 (110,000 miles), toyota camry, evening car

Question
Owner came home that evening, car seemed fine.Cold that night. Next morning, car would not start. Cap and rotor were very badly corroded. Replaced both. Still no fire. Is getting gas. Relays under dash check ok. Engine turns, no start. What all do I need to check? What are the possibilities?

Answer
There are two main problem areas (I'm assuming this to be a 4 cylinder)one is the coil inside the distributor, they tend to crack, the coil is replaceable, any other parts in the distributor are not and the entire distributor has to be replaced if the coil is not the problem.
The other common, but not as frequent, problem is the igniter assembly.
