Tractor Repair: 986 case/ih left 3 pt link leaking oil.

Question
How do I stop 3 pt from leaking hydrsulic fluid?  Just sitting it leaks about  a gallon a month.
Do I need special tools to take link off and remove seals/o-rings, ect.
What should I look for that would have caused this?

Paul, you need to replace the seals @ the 3 point....and instead of replacing one, replace both the arm seals. You should require no special tools, and it's a simple procedure. And at the cost of hydraulic fluid these days, you'll be doing yourself a big favor!
