Tractor Repair: leyland tractor start up, rotary pumps, glow plugs

hi' i asked you a question about injector pump and you helped me now i would like to ask you how to start the leyland tractor when i can't find any pre heat anywhere .there dos'nt seem to be glow plugs of anysort dos it need them ? if not do i just keep cranking it over till it starts .regards wayne

  You shouldn't need any type of starting aid unless the temperature is near freezing.  I'm not a Leyland expert, but I know they don't have glow plugs or a manifold heater.  Models with an inline injection pump have a button on the side of the pump that you push in for a cold start aid.  Rotary pumps do not have it.  Some models have an ether injection system.
