Tractor Repair: Case IH 385 lost Hydraulics, filter canister, hydraulic filter

I just changed the hydraulic filter on the tractor and now have lost all hydraulics.  No power steering,pto or 3pt.  The filter was pretty dirty and the hydraulics were slow, which is why I cahnged the filter.  Do you have any suggestions on where to start trouble shooting?

  If the oil is up to the full mark, then recheck your filter.  Sometimes when tightening the filter canister, the edge of the canister gets cocked and does not seat properly into the groove against the rubber seal and causes a suction leak.  Make sure you have installed a new rubber seal, loosen the bolt and wiggle the filter canister until it seats into the groove all the way around it, then retighten the bolt.
