Tractor Repair: Ford 3000 wont run, ford 3000 tractor, old ford

Question
After bush hogging a field for a couple of hours, my old Ford 3000 tractor just started bogging down and won't run.  It stopped when i was spinning the blade, then it would even stop after that, just in idle.  I got it recranked several times, and checked the blade for obstruction.  But it kept dying.  Then it died twice while trying to let it idle.  Now it won't crank?

Answer
Disconnect the chopper then try it again if it won't turn over still then try to turn the engine over by hand with a bar on the crankshaft. If it wont turn over by hand then you got engine problems. If it is just related to the pto then you might have something locked up inside.
