Tractor Repair: International 424, plug wires, distributor cap

Question
When I use it on a warm day after a hour of running ( brush hogging) it starts missing out and loses power. Once I leave it set for a while (15- 20 min.) it runs good for a while. This happen last year and I put new plug wires on it and it worked good for the rest of the year. Could this be the problem again?

Answer
Hello,

Plug wires should last for quite a few years, so I doubt it.  Make sure it's tuned up good with points, condenser, plugs, and distributor cap and rotor.  It could also be fuel related, so make sure there is a good flow of fuel from the tank to the carburetor.  There could be a restriction where it comes out of the tank.
