Tractor Repair: Bobcat 864 Newbie Question, steering linkage, connects 2

Question
I just got a Bobcat 864 and want to do a complete service.  We have other equipment and have no issue doing the standard stuff but just have a few questions:

1.  When changing the hydraulic fluid, where is the drain plug or can the hyd oil be pumped out through the aux attachment quick connects?

2.  Are there any special services needed if you are unsure of maintenance and the machine has 2000 hours?  I would assume there is a need to change the drive motor fluids but I'm not sure what this job entails.

3.  Is it necessary to pay the 2-300% mark up for Bobcat brand fluids (hyd) or is there an acceptable alternative?

Any additional maintenance tips / requirements would be appreciated as our local bobcat shop is not much help for the DIY contractors.

Thank you so much for your help.

Answer
Yes you can pump it out through the aux hydraulics but be careful. The hydraulic fluid is also the drive motor fluid as well and any high grade hydraulic fluid will work. All I can suggest is make sure the steering linkage are good and not creeping. If you have never changed the engine timing belt now would be a good time. If they brake they will take out the engine push rods.
