Tractor Repair: 1941 Farmall A, thrust, search box

Hi Arnie. i seen a post by you so I thought I would see if you could help us out.Husbands tractor has no throttle when he moves the lever;it just stays at an idle.Also when he had it apart he thought he needed a thrust spring but further looking it was pushed back in the governor is this correct as to how it should be....the repair book doesn't state where it should be.It had throttle before he took it apart. Thank you in advance for your help.

  To see a picture of how it is put together, go to caseih.com and select parts and services, then click on search for parts.  Enter your model in the search box and click search.  Go to the engine section and you will be able to see an illustration of the governor parts.
