Question
i have a john deere 1947 b clucth acts like it is locked pulley will not turn i replaced clucth disk faceings as it didnt want to pull haveing adjust clutch often but now is locked up what gives ?

Answer
Always start with the simplest thing first.
Make sure your starter isn't locked in keeping the engine from turning.
When you replaced the clutch discs, did you also replace the pressure plate?
This should always be done with every clutch job.
Can you pull the tractor?
Will the tractor turn over at all?
Try removing the flywheel inspection  and using a prybar try turning the flywheel by hand.
If you have tried all of this you may have to split the tractor again and check everything over.
Make sure that you have the right discs.
Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.
