Tractor Repair: Case MXM175 Code F 84, clutch pedal, pressure gauge

Question
i have a 2004 Case MXM175 and a trouble code F 84 is coming on the screen when i am trying to move off either in reverse or forward. the manual says that there is pressure on the clutch switch when the clutch solenoid is off. i have looked under the cab at the solenoids and could not identify which one it could be or what has caused it. Also the switches on the clutch pedal seem good.

Answer
This  going to be hard one to diagnose on your own. Bad thing about electronics it had taken a lot away from the owner when trouble codes come up. If the computer is  sensing a clutch pressure conflict then it could be you pressure switch or it could also be a position potentiometer. It might just need to be recalibrated. You can take off the floor plate to access the solenoids and put a pressure gauge in the clutch port and see if it has pressure when pedal in depressed or engaged. Other than that check your wiring again. If this doesn't help then you might want to ask the other expert Arnie he is pretty good with MXM and might be able to help more but you are probably going to have to call a dealer for a service call.
