Tractor Repair: gas in diesel, contaminated fuel, diesel fuel

Question
Gas was mistakenly put into the Kubota tractor.   How do we drain the gas from the system?   We can't get to the injectors without taking out the fuel tank.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hello,

Drain the fuel from the tank, and take off the fuel filter and drain it.  Put the filter back on and fill the tank with diesel fuel.  Turn on the fuel valve and let the filter and fuel line to the injection pump fill with fuel.  Loosen the fittings on the injection lines to the injectors.  Crank the engine over for a while and let the injection pump push the contaminated fuel out of the lines.  Tighten the fittings back up and it should start.  If not, the injection lines may need to be bled some more.
