Tractor Repair: MF135 possible fuel in oil, perkins engine, crank case

Question
Massey 135 early 70's Diesel 3 cylinder Perkins engine.  The oil level increased above max and the oil is very thin. No loss of Rad anti freeze. Is it possible a slow leak from the injection pump to the crank case?  Or can it leak from other areas. thanks

  It is possible for the injection pump to leak fuel into the crankcase, but if it has a mechanical lift pump mounted on the engine that pumps fuel from the tank to the injection pump, that is the most likely cause.  And also simpler and a lot less expensive.
