Tractor Repair: Valve adjustment on a massey 65, massey 65, valve cover gasket

Hi,
I have a Massey 65 4 cylinder diesel which needs a valve adjustment.Would you please tell the best way too do it.

Hello,

  Remove the valve cover, insert the correct size feeler gauge between the rocker arms and the tops of the closed valves.  Turn the adjuster bolts on the rocker arms to adjust the clearance to specs.  (Intake valves .016 hot, and exhaust valves .018 hot)  Turn the engine by hand until the valves that were closed are now open,  and adjust the other valves that are now closed.  Repeat until all the valves are done.  Replace the valve cover gasket, and put everything back together.
