Tractor Repair: Tractor Blow By, farmall 706, hydraulic disc

I recently purchased a Farmall 706(1967) & hydraulic disc for a job I have to get done. How long can I possible run the tractor before the major overall  needs to get done.

  Hello,

  That depends on the condition of the engine.  If the oil pressure is OK and it doesn't make any knocking noises, you could run it with excessive blow by for years and it won't hurt anything.  If it makes any unusual noises (knocking) or if the oil pressure is low, don't run it at all or you will do more damage.
