Tractor Repair: Troy-Bilt loader hydraulic fluid, automatic transmission fluid, loader model

Hi Arnie, The manual for my Troy-Bilt/Bolens front end loader model 14066 states that I need to use Type "A" hydraulic fluid and I have yet to find any brands stating that. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

  Hello,

  Type A means type A automatic transmission fluid, the same as is used in cars.  This is commonly used as hydraulic fluid in some brands and models of machinery.  You can buy Dexron III type A fluid just about anywhere.  At last, a question that was easy to answer!
