Answer
Hello,

Sounds like you have already checked the obvious things.  Are you using the correct method to retrieve the codes?  Just to review, you have to stay off the seat, put the lever in the engaged position, and turn on the key switch.  If the light only keeps flashing steady and will not flash any codes, the pto switch is bad.  The configuration should also be performed.  First check the connections and wires on the alternator, since the pto controller gets the engine rpm signal from the alternator.  Then remove the left dash panel and insert a jumper wire between the terminals that are on the right side of the fuse box.  Start the engine, run it at 1200 rpm's and engage the pto.  When the light stops flashing, the procedure is complete.  Stop the engine and remove the jumper wire.  Also check wiring and connections at the pto speed sensor and solenoid on the right side of the pto housing.
