Tractor Repair: massey 265, frontend loader, preasure

Question
I had a hydrolic line blow on the frontend loader between the levers and the
hydrolic unit. I have double checked line size as i wae told this could have
been the problem but this didn't help. The problem is I have good preasure
when I put the bucket on the ground and push the tractor up but I have very
little lift capability unless I reave the engine and then not mutch at that. I did
notice a chattering noise after I replaced the line the first time I started the
tractor and used the lift but this quit very quickly. I also tried bleading the
line but I'm not sure I did this correctly.

Hi Ken
You probably check the set up with your manual and the pipe size etc.
Also what do you know about the history of the tractor.
As all sorts of thing so could have been done to it during its life as you can imagine!
Check each hydraulic component against your manual including filters! Pipe size etc.
Engine revs will make a difference to it performance of course.
How is the oil level in all departments and is it the right grade!
Did you check oil level after replacing the broken line?
Bleeding must be carried out correctly ofcourse. Check with the manual again.
Air in the system is bad news but will not harm it just give poor performance.
