Tractor Repair: ford 1715 diesel tractor. 3 cyl., diesel tractor, ford 1715

overhauled engine.  put it together. lined up timing marks on 3 gears.  Isn't in time.  What else can I do to set the timing?   Thanks

So what makes you think its the timing?
I assume it will not start.
? is the fuel getting through --does it need bleeding this often happens when an engine has been stripped down.
Are the injectors in good order and what about the pump its self?
and are the pipes connected up in the right order and not leaking fuel/air.
tell me more about the symptoms.
