Question
when lifting the empty bucket from ground level or tilting the bucket back toward the tractor there is a few seconds of hesitation.  The tilt cylinders were completely rebuilt a month ago. this prob has been there before the rebuild.

How can I tell if there is water in the hydraulic fluid?

Hi George>
Something must make you think there is water in the works?
When you rebuilt cylinders did you replace all the oil filters etc??
WATER CONTENT -- There could be of course, can you drain the tank? After it has been standing a day or 2. The first few drops of liquid that come out may be water or white liquid, or gust a whitish foamy sludge this will indicate water content-- if so drain hole system inc cylinders. Pipes etc. and re fill with correct grade of oil!
Follow instructions in manual! Keep every thing clean, when refilling.
