Tractor Repair: Carburetor, starter fluid, fuel filter

Hey again.
My gravely is starting now but it only stays on if I keep on spraying carburetor cleaner into it.
Do you know how to fix this??

Ok --cant remember your original question, I get so many 5-6 a day.
But this running only on starter fluid is not so good do not use this any more or only briefly, as this indicates other problems!
Briefly –check for spark at plug.
Is there any fuel in tank?
Is the tank tap switched on!
Is the fuel getting to the carb?
Is tooo much fuel getting to the carb?
Check the fuel filter is it clean and working.
After these checks get back to me.
