Tractor Repair: ford 8n no spark, ford 8n, volt system

Question
Hi Danny, my name is eric, i am from Arkansas. I have a ford 8n that was running fine the other day and now i am getting no spark. I have replaced the coil, ignition switch, points, and condenser, the cap and rotor were replaced  about a year ago so i want to think the problem isnt there. The tractor was converted to a 12 volt system a couple of years ago, so i dont know if there could be a problem in the voltage regulator or not. I am about to pull all of my hair out.  Thank you, Eric

Answer
Eric here are some items to check that you may or may not have done.

(1) does the disi rotor button turn when you crank the engine if not the problem is a broken cam chain or gear.

(2) does the points have power if not check the coil does it have power.

(3) if the points are not gapped properly then the spark will not get to the spark plug lead.

(4) if the coil does not have power check the ignition switch.

Eric have a look at these items and let me know how you go.
