Tractor Repair: lawn tractor, kohler engine, lawn tractor

Question
I have a craftsman tractor with a kohler engine, evety time I start it shoots gas out of the exhaust I took off the air cleanr to check the carb. and when I start it runs for about 1 minute and gas over flows into the carb from the line going to some box in front of the motor to the carb

Answer
Hector it sounds like the needle and seat in the carbie has some rubbish caught in it and is what we call flooding the carbie.
You will need to take the base off the carbie this is the bowl and remove the float allowing the needle to come out of the seat.
Clean the rubbish out and reinstall and it should then be ok.
You may need to change the engine oil as some times the sump can fill with fuel if you have a flooding problem.
