Tractor Repair: international b414, pully, water pump

Question
just replace the water pump on my b414 and having a hard time putting the lower belt back on the pully on the water pump. The pully front comes off, but can't slip the belt over the pully. Is there a special tool I need?

Harold the first thing is the pulley the same size as the old one and have you eplaced the belt if so is it the same length as the old one.
If the pulley and belt are the same as the old one have you done any other changes to things.
You must make sure that the pulley is undone as much as you can so the belt sits deep in the vee and when you have the belt on then adjust the pully to tighten the belt up to correct tension not to tight as you will damage the bushes in the generator.
